Frequently Asked Questions
As a behavior professional, it is very important to me that your dog is not distressed during their stay.
-
I have 3 dogs of my own: Sunny, Susie, and Monty. They all have very different personalities, play-styles, and preferences.
-
If your dog is friendly and wants to play, I take the preferences of your dog and my dogs into consideration for 1:1, supervised play
-
Dogs can be fully integrated with my dogs or kept fully separate: this is always based on everyone’s comfort level, both canine and human. If they don't like other dogs, they never have to see my dogs.
-
This is not something you can request. It is entirely dependent on your dog’s comfort level, my dogs’ comfort level, and my comfort level.
-
All dogs are kept inside my home with my husband and I. Each dog is provided a crate to eat and sleep in.
-
Sleeping arrangements are dog-dependent and can be in my living room or in a quieter, more private space, like my kitchen or my training area. Each dog is provided a kennel to sleep in.
-
Potty breaks are every 2-4 hours in our fenced yard. Dogs also get regular walks to meet their exercise needs—either around the neighborhood or to a local hiking trail.
-
My husband and I both primarily work from home, meaning your dog is rarely alone. There is a camera on them any time they aren’t being directly supervised.
-
We maintain a highly selective boarding schedule to ensure your dog is my priority.
-
At this time, we are not offering in-person tours. Please keep an eye out for our virtual video tours or reach out for a phone call to chat about our offerings!
-
Not a problem! I have over a decade of veterinary experience and am comfortable with a variety of medication from injectables to orals and topicals.
-
My training space is covered in non-slip flooring and walk-out, ideal for dogs with mobility concerns.
-
We have a special fridge for dogs eating fresh, homecooked, or raw diets. Bowls are cleaned after every meal.
-
Our day-care program is ideal for dogs with separation anxiety. If we have to leave the house, they are able to travel with us in our crash-tested car crates.
-
That isn’t a problem. They never have to see or interact with another dog.
-
This is fine, we can accommodate. However, for your dog’s safety & comfort, and our safety & comfort, they must be on a Board and Train if they stay.
